This black bear was recently taken by 12 year old Jarrett Gentry, in Idaho. This is his first bear, and his father Chad tells me he shot it with a 270 from a distance of 242 yards.
Way to go Jarrett! A very nice bear indeed.

I think this one is sad, I know that hunting has to be done, but still sad none the less. I love your nature photos, what a beautiful area you live in.
