End of the Line
Icy Display in OsmondAt the end of community water systems, here in Star Valley, the water is left to squirt in the air all winter. The purpose is to keep the water lines from freezing. These ice towers are found in several places through out the valley.

LadyMy next installment of picture of the day.
An explanation: For Christmas, Santa brought me a new Nikon D3000 Camera! I have been having a blast with it. I recently finished a class at the community college on photography, and have begun in earnest to learn how to use all the nifty functions and settings of my new camera. The best way to learn is to do, so I plan on posting a photo for each day for the next year. I may not be able to post each and every day, but I will post photos to make up for the days I miss.
Thus far the posted photos have been straight from the camera, without any editing what so ever. For now I am concentrating on technique. I am not too worried about how good they are, more how they were taken, and under what conditions, and with what lenses.
