S'more Summer Fun

We held our August cub scout pack meeting at the Auburn shelter. We have held all our pack meetings this summer there. We had a great time. The highlight of the evening was the making of smores!

Brother Jim Bagshaw shows us what a perfectly toasted marshmallow should look like! He is the Bishopric representative for the cub scout program in our ward.

Preston thinks a perfectly roasted marshmallow should end up charred! As you will see, so do most everyone else under the age of twelve.

Spencer's marshmallow. A nice hew of BLACK! I think he enjoys playing with the flame, as much as eating the smore.

Emily Walker showing off her toasting abilities! Emily is the wolf den leader.

Emily Isaacson with her marshmallow supreme. Emily is the new primary president.

Tate showing us just how big his mouth is, along with his marshmallow!

Brock dressed in his uniform (way to go Brock), and with his marshmallow.

Jantzen displays his roasting skills! Jantzen is the newest member of the cubs!

Ruby's marshmallow is actually golden brown! She has a more refined taste for a good smore than the boys!

Lori Chadwick with her nicely browned marshmallow's. Lori is the Bear den leader.

Flavoring Fools

I can find amusement just about any where. The latest source to provide a laugh for me came from a school project that Ruby is working on. She came home with a binder with a historical account of Star Valley inside. The title of the history is 'A Bend in the River - The History of Star Valley and Lincoln County'.

As I was reading a section about the town of Auburn I came across a sentence that is worth sharing! Click on the image if you must to see it! It is too funny and worth a click!
